William Phillippi is the senior member
of the firm's Corporate and Finance Group.Mr. Phillippi is a business attorney with more than 25 years experience
in the representation of business persons in the formation, operation, growth
and disposition of their respective businesses through the private practice of
business, corporate, finance, mergers and acquisitions, real estate and
securities law.
Mr.
Phillippi has formed, and negotiated the organizational documents of,
corporations, limited liability companies, partnerships and joint ventures
for various clients.
He has had
extensive experience advising directors and executive management of
business clients.
He has
represented sellers or buyers in multi-million dollar merger and
acquisition transactions ranging in size up to $250 million.
He has also
represented lenders or borrowers in multi-million dollar financial
transactions, including some in excess of $100 million.
Mr.
Phillippi has handled private and public offerings of securities, some as
issuer's counsel and some as underwriters' counsel, ranging in size up to
more than $100 million.
His
experience includes the representation of many public and large private
companies and their subsidiaries.He has served firms with assets ranging up to $1.3 billion in
highly regulated industries.
